The wash cycle can damage the swimsuit's fabric, hand washing in cold water only with mild soap/detergent not only ensures that your bright swimsuits stay bright, but it also gives your suit more longevity and helps keep its shape. Always hang dry your suit in the shade, never place suit in the dryer.

Whilst wearing your swimsuit avoid fake tanning products, tinted moisturiser, and oily lotions.
